Hope you are all enjoying the lead up to Christmas. Time for an update- Had a fantastic time doing an artist residency in Chiang Mai Thailand, produced some interesting paintings and had an exhibition whilst over there. Just great. Will post some new works in a Thailand Gallery. I have been published now in 2 books Semi permanent Edition 2 2009(available at any good bookshop) and In Retrospect(available at Retrospect Galleries). I did the maggies for the Lightmares residency project. I love the warbling of these amazing birds, it makes me feel at home and sounds corny but very Australian. However, my childhood memories are of them attacking me on my bike and me having to wear an ice-cream container on my head!!! I think every Aussie has a maggie story.
